I really don't understand why every year for the past years they bother making a Big Thing about the Grammy's like it's something great? A great Happening ? NOT !!! The GRAMMYS for the past 20 years or so Sucks. Why? The Music Sucks. It's really sad, that for the past 25 Years or so the Music is So Damn Bad. It's really incredible and quite unbelievable that after such great music being produced in the 50s, 1960s, 70s, and even into the 80s, that the music has gotten so bad. More than Bad actually, it quite literally Sucks, with a bunch of Mediocre so-called talent, "I hesitate to call it talent, if we're lucky maybe 2% of all the performers that the masses think are talented, but they quite literally SUCK ! People like Taylor Swift, John Legend, Kanye West, Justine Timberlake and all the rest put at Crappy Music. I just don't get it? All these people are quite medicare in their so-called talent (NOT !). All these people; Timberlake, Taylor Swift, John Legend and all the other horrible musical performers of the present would have been laughed off the stage. In fact they never even would have made to the stage in the days of Johnny Carson and The Tonight Show, The Ed Sullivan SHow and the likes. The talent scouts of days passed, if people like John Legend, Swif, Kanye, and Timberlake ever went to the talent scouts and producers of The Ed Sullivan Show, The TOnight Show, Playboy After Dark, Sammy & Company, The Dean martin Show, Sonny & Cher, and the like, the producers would laugh in John Legends face. His music is awful. John Legend, Justine Timebrlake, and Kanyne West are oh so lucky, as they are all Multi Millions, and the produce garbage, Well I guess it's a result of a large part of the American population having such horrible taste, or no taste at all. This is the only explanation that I could figure out why all this crappy noise that they call music, that's devoid of any rhythm, rhyme, or reason, or any melody at all. I'm mystified, when we had all the great R&B, POP, Standards, and ROCK n' ROLL MUSIC of the 50s, 1960s, 70s, and 80s, and the so-called music just became so shitty and is accepted by the tasteless population of AMerica. It's really sad.

So why is CBS making such of a Big Deal about the Grammys when it is going to be Horrible like it has been for the past 10 years? I don't get it. Is this somebody's sick sense of humor, a Joke? Why take away all the great music like, Rock, R&B, and POP music, really great stuff. Music that has stood the test of time, unlike the SHIT that they (Taylor, Justin, Kanye, John Legend, and ???). This is a Sick Joke created by people in the music business? Record Company Execs and what not? "I don't get the Joke? Am I missing something people. Why have they done? Why have they STOPPED Making GREAT MUSIC? Why do they put out Crap Noise now? Does anyone have an answer? Please let us all in on the joke, and please bring back Rock, R&B, and great POP Music and get rid of all the God Awful HIP HOP RAP SHIT and Crappy so-called alternative Rock. "Alternative to what, the great Rock Music of the 60s and 70s. What's the point? Why not make great music like before? Where's Jerry Wexler and Clive Davis when you need them"

Jerry Vale and others. ANd when it comes to ROCK N ROLL: The BEATLES, 

The ROLLING STONES, JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, LED ZEPPELIN, and many many more.

There were Amazing R&B Artist like: The Great MARVIN GAYE, Dianna Ross,

The SUPREMES, The O'JAYS, The STYLISTICS, TEDDY PENDGRASS, AL GREEN,

The TEMPTATIONS, and Too Many to Name Here. The Current Generation doesn't even have one

great artists to compete with the musical artist of the 60s 70s and 80s. Just NO COMPARISON the Music

For those of you who may not know "My Way" was written by French Songwriters Claude Francosi and Jacques Revaux. The English Lyrics that Sinatra sings, were written 1967 by Canadian singer / songwriter Paul Anka. Anka heard the song called Comme d Habitude (as Usual), sung by Claude Francois while on vacation in the South of France, and liked it as a potential song. Paul Anka flew to Paris to meet with the song writers, where he obtained adaption, recording, and publishing rights for a mere $1 ...

Some time Anka was in Florida having lunch with Sinatra at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach where Sinatra was filing Tony Rome. The story goes Frank was hinging out with some Mobsters, when Anka proposed the song Sinatra. Sinatra told Anka, "I'm quitting the Business. I'm Sick of It. I'm getting the Hell Out."

Anka rewrote the song one night in New York. Anka recalls that he sat down with his IBM typewriter at 1 O'Clock in the morning. and said to himself, "If Frank were ,writing this song, what would he say?" Anka finished the song by 5 o'clock in the morning. He called up Frank who was at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Paul told Frank, "I've got something special for you."

Sinatra recorded My Way on December 20, 1968 at Western Recorders Studios in Los Angeles just a few hours before performing a concert at The Sands Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Frank Sinatra's daughter Tina says that even though My Way became Sinatra's signature song, he hated it, Tina said "He didn't like it. The song stuck and he couldn't get it off his shoe. He always thought the song was self-serving and self-indulgent."

Paul Aka says that his record producer was bad at Paul that he gave it to Sinatra, and didn't record it himself, but Anka said he could never sing it. It was for Frank. Sinatra's recording of My Way has sold 10s of Millions of copies over the year, and is not only a large part of Sinatra's History (like it or not), American history and part of 100s of millions of Americans and people all over the World who love the song and the memories it holds for them.

The LOOK of LOVE, is just one of a few thousand great songs recorded in the great era of 1960s - 1970s Music. Yes just one of so many thousands of great songs, of which the current era of so-called musicians could ever think of making just one song, and the musical artists and sng writers of the 50s 60s 70s and even 1980s produced Thousands of Great Songs, in the musical genres of R&B, POP, Standards, Movie Music, and of course good old Rock-N-Roll Music.

Listen to this great song, "The Look of Love" written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, and sung here by the incomparable Dusty Springfield who recorded a number of Bacharach / David hits.

The Look of Love was written in 1967 for the film CASINO ROYALE which was a spoof on James Bond films. It was originally written as an instrumental song, but David later added lyrics to it, and Dusty Springfield recorded it, and the song was released in 1968.

Bacharach said that he was inspired for the melody of the song, when he watched Ursala Andress in early cuts of the film.

Dionne Warwick, Isaac Hayes, Diana Krall, and Bobby Womack have all done covers of the song.

A cover of The Look of Love was recorded by Susanna Hoffs for the movei Austin Powers, and was included on the movie soundtrack.

It is highly unlikely that just one such great song like the "Look of Love" could ever be made today, as there are no good song writers like; Burt Bacharach, Hal David, Carole King, or so many others. The song writers, musicians, and bands of the 21st Century quite literally "Suck" and are incapable of producing just one great son like this. Musicans and Son Writters of the 20ths Century produced literally Thousands of Great Pop, R&B, American Standards, and Rock N Roll music. 

Again, what happened to music? Why did it Die? Why aren't there any great musical artsist out there other than ones that are still around from the 20th Century, like; The Rolling Stones, Tony Bennett, and Dianna Ross, just to name a few.
